5 Responses to Strong Female Characters on Fall’s New and Returning TV Shows

  1. Stephanie says:

Catherine Chandler – new series Beauty & the Beast – played by Kristin Kreuk. Cat should be in Strong Female Characters.

  2. Cate says:

Kate Beckett is such a strong female character. She’s determined, loyal, resourceful, smart, sexy but she also has her flaws being as stubborn as all hell. She’s a strong feminine woman in a man’s world – the NYPD.

  3. Chandramas says:

Forgetting Kate Beckett is a Huuuge mistake.

  4. glo1196 says:

Yes, quite an omission forgetting Kate Beckett.

  5. Charlie says:

Yes, you’re completely forgetting Kate Beckett, played by Stana Katic, of Castle. She a very strong female character, for the reasons Cate above said. Plus, a bunch more reasons. Kate’s perhaps even more stronge than many of those you’ve mentions, taken her past into consideration, with her mother being murdered when Kate was 19, her father turning to the bottle in his grief, leaving Kate (single child) alone in her grief and everything that followed that. Just saying… :)
