In the midst of all this excitement about our event My Letter to Fear happening on June 24th, lets not forget about our 4th Annual All Things Fundraiser happening on Saturday, May 19th! What is an all things marathon you ask? Well, it’s a chance for fans of Gillian Anderson to come together and raise money for a select charity of Gillian’s choosing. This year, she has chosen Artists for a New South Africa (ANSA). This organization works not just in South Africa but also in the US. They work to combat HIV/AIDS and help children who are orphaned by this disease. They also promote civil rights and educate and empower youth culture.
As is tradition, this year we’ll be starting with Gillian’s X-Files episode, “all things,” which she wrote and directed followed by some surprise selections.
So really, to sum it up: watching TV, raising money for charity, oh – and there’s snacks! Sound like a good afternoon to you? It does to us!
