The next actress in our Get to Know blog series is Lesley Fera!

Most of you probably recognize Lesley as Spencer’s (Troian Bellisario) mom, “Veronica Hastings”, on ABC Family’s “Pretty Little Liars”. What you may not know though, is Lesley has quite an extensive and impressive theatre background as well.

Lesley has been a longtime member of the Pacific Resident Theatre in Venice, CA and has been seen in such lead roles as Anna in “Anna Christie”, Olympia in “Big Love”, and Lady Chatterley in “Lady Chatterley’s Lover”. The latter show also earned her an L.A. Drama Critic’s Circle Award in 2000 for her performance. Regionally, she has also been seen as Poopay/Phoebe in “Communicating Doors” at the San Jose Repertory Theatre and Martha in “The Children’s Hour” at the Provincetown Repertory Theatre.

Television wise, Lesley has also had quite a prolific career in addition to her role on “Pretty Little Liars”. She has been a recurring character on “24”, “CSI:Miami” and “Justice”. Other television work includes “The Mentalist”, “Criminal Minds”, “Without a Trace”, “House”, “ER”, “NYPD Blue”, “Cold Case” ,”Nip/Tuck”, “The Drew Carey Show”, “The Practice”, and “House M.D.”.

Lesley has selected “Women of a Certain Age” and “Pieces of Her” to perform from “My Letter to Fear”. “Women of a Certain Age,” explores the decisions life may make for you, and “Pieces of Her” is a cautionary tale about the lies a woman can tell which chip little pieces of her away.

We are so thrilled Lesley is joining us on Sunday, June 24th at The Beverly Wilshire and we hope we’ll see you there too!
