This month, IBG features 600Million.org. They are a non-profit organization that is committed to ending the widespread suffering and death within the stray dog population worldwide. Their mission is to do so by funding the development and global distribution of an oral sterilization pill, which will dramatically reduce stray populations by limiting reproduction, thereby preventing the birth of literally billions of puppies each year. These puppies typically live under appalling conditions or are killed by “stray dog control methods,” which include poisoning, shooting, electrocution, beating to death, and worse.
